She's obviously not rich, & your class envy is showing.

Oh that's right, everyone drives either Audi A4's or giant SUV's in America, silly me I forgot.

Right, because everybody in America lives within their means, and nobody takes out huge loans to pay-off a car over 60 months, right? And of course you never see people on welfare driving around in Escalades that were more expensive than all the possessions in their houses combined.

Truth be told, nobody here has enough information to conclude whether she's rich or not. But just keep on trolling away.

Living in Stamford, CT?

Hmm...let's see.

122 Fieldstone Rd. (the house next door):
http://www.cityofstamford.org/Tax/Searc...&INPUTVALUE=FIELDSTONE&SUBRECORD=16447
Land: $126,700
Building: $279,400
Total: $406,100

And that was in 2002.

To be honest, that's not very expensive for Connecticut.

That's just sad. It's probably because she's in debt up to her neck that she didn't want the added expense of a busted window. But, good god, that's your son!!! A window, heck a whole Audi can be replaced, but not your children.

If she was 'rich' she would have laughed at a broken window..
She would have destroyed the car without a thought and walked away smiling.

And that was three years ago. It still takes about $200,000/yr gross income to qualify for a mortgage of that size (with 20% down)

Most of the houses in my town on LI are anywhere from $300,000-$450,000. Average household income is probably about $55,000-$70,000.

We are not a rich neighborhood or town by any means.

well that's a rather stupid thing to say dontcha think?

Our priorities can be whack at times, but that doesn't mean she doesn't care about her child, just maybe not in the same way that society demands.

You're a douche (which is well-known by now) if you think a 400k house in Stamford is "expensive." The place has high housing values. An Audi A4 is NOT an expensive car, either. What year was it? Even if new, they aren't 80k cars. Go ahead and say it is about her being rich, and continue to let your class envy shine through. What a jealous partisan hack you are.
