you can still achieve full functionality of the card and TV tuner, etc without the remote. I have this and it's worked pretty well for me. Watching TV is fine, but I'm not too much of a fan of their DVR/tivo functions (but that's just me).

With the remote you can do what you'd expect (change channels, pull up the Guideplus tv listings system) but beware, guideplus doesn't play well with digital cable. This is because of the external cable box... so changing channels through guideplus changes the channel of the ATI viewer, not the channel of the digital cable box. On the other hand, you can program remote functions for other programs or just windows in general.

just my 2 cents, overall I think $99 for this card is fair without the remote.... vid card plays well with games (I've been playing far cry, counter strike source , star wars battlefront, etc)

FYI Just got a pair of these cards for $89. During setup and testing I noticed that the OEM version has the core set to only 405Mhz that sucks because the retail AIW 9600XT have the core set to 525Mhz. Just to let you people know about the underclocking of the cards

I got one of these cards too, but have not set it up yet. If you want one of the remotes there is a guy on ebay now selling them with a starting price of 9.95 and a "buy it now" for 14.95, which is a good price for the remote. Shipping is calculated according to where you live. I just bought one. I am not the seller on ebay.
Just do a search for All in Wonder II Remote. I have been watching ebay for over a month and the cheapest they have been before is like $27 plus 11 shipping. There were 5 left last time I checked

Yes you can reset the card to a stock 525 Mhs core but you should use riva tuner and double check that the card can handle the speed. I now have my card flashed to the 525 Mhz core speed and its running just as fast as my other AIW 9600XT. They also had the cards for only $89 plus tax thats why I bought 2 of them can always use the card anyways

The deal is not dead it just got better they have lowered the price to $89 and I also wanted to warn people that the OEM version of the AIW 9600XT does have the core underclocked to only 405Mhz

Anyone know if the card works well/not with TV through Antenna? I have a PNY MC2 (nVidia FX 5700 Personal Cinema) and it barely works, even with an active Antenna. The signal is simply not strong/clear enough to watch TV - although, the Antenna works well with a regular TV. Also, my MC2 is horrible when I attach a PS2 to it - fuzzy pictures, under any setting using DScaler...

Comments are greatly appreciated...

it is an OEM thats why it doesn't come with any accessories. It is hot if it was 2-4 weeks ago. Now it is a super obsolete video card and thus not a hot deal anymore since ATI released their X1000 series. You can get the X600 AIW for around that price around the web.

Wrong..... It comes with all the accessories except the remote.... And I picked up the remote for 14.95 +shipping on ebay. Not a hot deal at $129 though. And the cheapest I can find the x600 AIW is for over $160, and that is without the remote too. Plus the AIW x600 appears to only come in PCIexpress, so not really compareable to this card.
