MOH:AA image problems

I built a new PC and used MSI K8N Platinum SLI board with a MSI 6600GT TD128E gfx card. I installed MOH:AA (Medal of Honor: Allied Assault) on it. When I ran it, it worked fine so long as I don't open/run any mission. Whenever I load any mission, the image seems to be all messed up with yellow and brown panels and frames for all the scenery. I installed it on my laptop and it yielded the same results... Are the files on the CD corrupt? Should I get the CDs changed?

Any help will be appreciated.

You didn't mention patching it. Before addressing other concerns get the latest patch (1.11 maybe?)

How do I figure out which version I have? That patch is available for specific versions.

I'm sorry, but it's been a couple of years since I played it, and I also no longer have a copy, so I'm not certain where the version information might be. Very likely somewhere in the options/settings there is mention, or perhaps you could just open the directory where the game is installed and find a file that has release information.

If any of that confuses you it seems to me there's no harm in simply applying the patch and see what happens. If it doesn't apply to your version you can always reinstall the game.
