Standard rj45 connectors will work just fine, what i have noticed is the (e) standard connectors fit together alot tighter than the old standard ones.(a bit more exact fit) This better fit is suppose to help reduce the RF/EMI problems.

Opps, i ment when using a wall plate the connection is better. Standard cable runs from PC to hub/switch, standard connectors are fine...
