Based on positive reviews of the Modu82+ line of Enermax power supplies I bought the 425 watt model. My unit runs quietly and I could not be more pleased.
Customers do need to be warned against swapping fans in these units however. The reviews initially written by Silent PC Review and Anandtech discussed fan swaps and stated that the fans were PWM units. After the SPCR review was posted, Enermax contacted Mike Chin and informed him that a special bi-voltage fan is used and that substituting a three pin or PWM fan will not work and is likely to damage the Speedguard circuit. SPCR wrote an addendum to their review as a warning against fan swaps.
