You are correct, I have never sold anything in FS/FT. Once, about a year ago, I traded a calculator. I don't need to rely on heatware evals; I've got a positive reputation to rely on, and plenty of others to back that up if necessary. Anyone trading with me can be assured that I won't post a whiny thread and drag their name through the mud if a deal falls through. Heatware evals may be evidence of a positive trading history, but as you are showing, they don't necessarily mean that someone has enough sense in his head to realize that he's acting like a spoiled little child.

What does it matter that he sold it to someone else for $70? Who's to say he wouldn't have sold it to you for $65 had you not added your conditions? Plain and simple, he would not meet your conditions on the sale; who he sold it to, and for how much, is irrelevant. You nixed this deal, and now you are complaining about it and making yourself look like an ass in front of everyone. Grow up!

I had a nice long response typed in and then I replied and it was locked.....now its unlocked again, thanks mods ;P

Reitz, I hope next time you'll think about the gravity of the $5, its a serious situation even though he didn't agree to the sellers terms. Obviously not being a trader you just can't grasp this.

btw: What reitz said :)

Yeah but the mods usually comply when the thread originator wishes for the post to be locked (or in this case, deleted all together).

This thread seems like a needless smear campaign, and it just seems like it might be appropriate to edit out the names if you want to keep the thread open.

I don't want to be pit against any of the mods on this, it just seemed like an idea that should be brought up.

WTF is the difference if some sells something for $65 plus shipping or $70 shipped?

I'll take the $70 shipped Priority, Insured and Confirmed of course!

And as far as Reitz goes...I've down countless communique and dealings with him...A+++ to infinity in my book!
