Why even bother asking?

I mean the core will do what it will,it dont matter if jack flash got 4 ghz out of his chip it's not the same chip.

YOU and only you can know how far your chip will go,no one else.

While asking about cores will not guarantee you a specific overclock, some steppings are more prone to better overclocking and can tell you the possible potential of 1 core vs. another.

I have an idea, if you don't like questions about cores, don't read them. What you are doing is thread crapping.

That's untrue. Certain batches of CPUs generally run at approximately the same maximum frequency. It varies, but not by all that much. Stop posting.

Newb yeah right,I have been messing with computers long before you KID.😛

I have seen very similar cores be VERY different from each other,in the end the only way to know is by actualy testing the cpu.

1966, what an idiot, anyhow, the Basis of myself posting this thread really didn't have a damn thing to do with core speeds, or overclocking, I just wanted info on the S spec of the cpu, as I havn't seen this 1 before, and couldn't get info on it anywhere else. If I wanted any damn info as to Overclocking a damn chip, I would either head over to www.overclockers.com of which I am a senior member, and would ask there/ However, I have been a member here for about 4 years, and thought it prudent to be able to ask a simple question without getting BS from some Moron. Thanks for the crap.

It's people like you who ruin these message boards for the countless AT members who come on here in search of intelligent hardware discussion. I'm appauled that the mods haven't locked this thread yet. I would prepare for a vacation if I were you.

And the reason why many of our Guru Overclockers have left in favor of other sites...
