i had the network set up using a crossover cable to run seti.

the main rig has dsl to 1 ethernet card and another ethernet card for the network

the second computer has a ethernet card for the network

i have a dlink ds104 hub setup in normal mode not uplink.

i can share files using netbui on both or tcip but no internet on the networked computer(it works fine on the primary computer)

what am i doing wrong?

my seti stats are hurting untill i can get this working

should i manually set up the addresses and if thats the case can i get a step-by-step from someone?

i set this up to move the computers out of the same room.

i got the 25' cable with the hub.
i am using an asound ethernet card for the network on comp1 and a real tek for dsl same chip in both
i have an intel pro 100 in the comp 2 for the network

i do plan on getting a router in the future

i made my mistake not enabling ics

i really appreciate the help
