If you do a search you will find a very large thread devoted to this story. I agree it is horrible what happened.

im going to call that they didnt tell all the information. are you sure they did it as an example and not because they did something wrong? no one in their right mind would have done that in front of other students. unless they were 18 or older and consented to it. just sounds too far out there to not be missinformation.

Being humiliated is what the trip was all about. And guess what? It had a POSITIVE impression on all the whiny little b!tch students. They all stated on Dateline that the incident made them NOT want to go to prison, or do anything that could risk sending them there.

I'm sorry, but with at risk students, you have to go to extremes to set them straight. One of those extremes is making sure they understand ALL the consequences of breaking the law.

I my opinion, they should have taken a tour in the prison hospital, and shown the after effects of a violent anal rape case.

Sorry, but I just can't be very outraged at this.

It was a prison trip for &quot;at risk&quot; students. Sort of like &quot;Scared Straight&quot; was in the 70s and 80s.
