they're not gonna change that stuff for a dvd release. missing scenes is the only thing you'd get from your list.

Um they're not going to re-edit a movie just for the DVD, unless it's to put in missing scenes.

I can PROMISE you that no self-respecting director would EVER let part of their movie be "cut out." The jokes were fine, you humorless buffoon.
Also, don't count on adding any music. That takes much more effort than you could probably imagine. Not happening.

Cut out some of the Jokes - especially the glasses in the beggining
Missing Scenes

That'll happen.

Nor would any self-respecting director come to the Anandtech forums for advice on his DVD releases.

Look if they add the music to the movie, and edit just 2-3 scenes, it will be perfect movie up there with almost T2.
Since when are you Stephen fvcking Spielberg?

DVD petition should be only 1 extreme edition, bypassing any ultimate edition or regular edition.

Missing scenes is a usually included feature of a lot of DVDs. But they're not going to put in a new or a music score into the movie. This isn't Star Wars remastered or anything. And cutting out the jokes changes the entire theme/feel of the movie. Why would they do that? Supply and demand? Out of the <20 posts in this thread, how many actually want those changes? Good luck.

I wish they'd make a T3 DVD with no music and like dinosaurs attacking people and a giraffe.. Giraffes are crazy so it would be a great edition.

the dvd is already being worked on. its going to be the original featurette, i can almost guarantee you. its going to come in a double amaray case (possibly a 2-cd effort), and a re-release of the DVD in the future is highly unlikely (the production company [warner bros.] who is putting out the dvd is not known for doing double-dips). In fact, i believe the tentative date for it is nov. 18, id hafto double check though.

edit: fixed prod. company, verified date.

The glasses bit was friggin hilarious, everyone one in the theater was cracking up :D
The missing music did suck though, i actually had to sit through the credits because i wanted to hear the revamped theme song.

Why do people edit their threads and say "please delete" when they get smacked down? It's kinda stupid...
