Yeah, I agree that the transfer times suck ass... but if they dump the Real Jukebox crap there's no reason that you couldn't average 20 mb minute which would work out to roughly 10 meg ethernet speeds. And you generally only have to load your unit up completely with tunes once in a blue moon.

i don't even have 20GB of mp3's but yeah, it would require one full upload every.... hell, maybe only one ever... unless it crashes or something..

Well, a full re-load certainly shouldn't be a regular occurrence.

If it's a standard 2.5" drive would probably be easier to pull it out and connect it to the pc using a drive adapter. If it uses any kind of a pc compatible partition would be a lot quicker to copy mp3s onto it that way.

I question whether the Real Jukebox software would support this... in fact I know it won't. The biggest drawback to this player is that it must use Real to load files... hopefully they address this with an alternative.
