There have been a couple threads lately that both hit 50+ count; one used some particularly tasty pics from that "rotten" site (the link is banned I think) and another showed what happens when you lose control of a Ferrari. These things don't offend me at all (they make me hungry for pizza) but why are they around whereas if I post a pic to some chick getting nailed the thread will be locked right away?!
 
there would be nudity in the pic of the chick getting nailed and nudity to the Anandtech Moderators is the devil...
 
The censorship here reflects how society views sex as the ultimate taboo. We can show gratuitious amounts of violence and drug use yet when there's a pic of some chick's privates, people go into a frenzy.
