Modesto, CA

used to live there when i was a kid for a couple months... yeesh that place was desolate years and years ago...

I always called it Molesto. I have fond memories of driving through that way and collecting tons of cabbage moth guts on my windshield at night.

I don't, haven't and can't imagine living there. However, I live within 30 mins distance from Modesto.

I like other neighbouring cities much better. 🙂

<< An excellent band going by the name Grandaddy is offspring of Modesto, CA. >>

You are correct. Nice buncha guys!

I live about 30 miles from MO town.

Funny story, I'm from Detroit and I went out to Cali last summer to do some disc golfing. While I was in Santa Cruz, I went to DeLaveaga Park to play some disc golf and I met a guy who claimed he was from MoTown. I was like, "No way, you're from Detroit too?" He was like, "no....Modesto". Then he just kept laughing.

<< what? live in that desert? j/k... hehehe
San Jose here
>>

Modesto and Manteca are a hell of a lot better than Merced!

BTW, San Jose while a great place to live about 5 years ago is now an over crowded over priced Toilet right smack dab in the middle of Paradise. I know, I fled that Toilet (I lived there for 25 years) for Podunk Merced. Every time I go back to San Jose I can't wait to get the hell out of there!
