In similar fashion to the Forza 3 game night, we're kicking off a Modern Warfare 2 game night.

Each week we'll rotate who the host is. The host gets to choose the game type and rules. The host rotation will go in order of players committing to the game night in this thread, beginning with myself.

To commit, please PM me and I'll add your name to the list. Include information letting me know what days/times are good for you. Please do not post in the thread just to commit - the thread will "blow up" too quickly.

I thought about adding a poll for the dates and times, but I didn't want to bias it with my own preferences. For me, weekday evenings or weekend afternoons work best. I'm on Eastern time and would prefer to be done by 11PM. Ideally - if I had it my way - we'd do it on a weeknight from 9 - 10:30.
 
thursday 8:30pm eastern to midnight is open for me.

if thursday is no good i will check. but thats my best option.

wednesday are no good right now.
fridays and weekends are spotty.
 
Forza night usually runs 9pm - 1pm EST and works out pretty well for most folks.

You may have enough interest to run it from 9pm - 1am est with guys from the west coast rotating in as the east coasters roll out.

Just a thought.
 
I'm in, and time & date doesn't matter to me - if I'm on, I'll take an invite unless I'm playing with my coworkers.

Forza has a rotating car choice because of the drastic difference in car classes (you need to keep 'em close) along with the fact that building/tuning a car takes a good amount of time. There's really nothing like that you need to do on MW, just play all the maps, you can vote on what to play.

Tuesdays would probably work best for me although I can't say I'll be able to make it to all of 'em (or even most of 'em) but I'll try to join in once in a while.
 
while cod doesnt have the custimazation of halo. u can still make some interesting games. for instance turn of perks and kill streaks.
 
When we played a few weeks ago I set up a last man standing game. No kill limit but everyone had a set amount of lives. Also played that in 3rd person with HC damage (but kept the HUD since you can't look through sights in 3rd person...you need the dot).

Sure there is - there's all kinds of cool customization options like headshots only, no perks/killstreaks, etc. I don't know about everyone else, but I've always wanted to get a large game going while experimenting with those options. If I just wanted vanilla TDM, I'd pub 😉 Granted, vanilla TDM with this group would be much more strategic and engaging, but still... it's an opportunity for some real variety!
 
I'll try and make it on Thursday. Busy evening for me but I should be there at 9PM or after.
 
Thursdays I won't be able to make it, that's cool though. I'll catch you all on other random nights.
 
i will most likely be there. had some family stuff just come up. but i should be home at night. i should be able to bring more people if needed
 
ok. i should be able to bring 2-4 more people from work to join in. im working on getting us to 18 everyweek.
