I have been banned from the forums for about 2 weeks now and am anything but happy about it.

Appearantly because I used my yahoo address I was locked out. That is fine, but I have not been able to LOGIN TO UPDATE MY PROFILE.

I mailed you about 10 times already from yahoo AND my @drexel.edu mail accounts and have never gotten a response.

I will happily update my profile. I can't say I'm exactly happy about waiting 2 weeks without access even though I am a paying customer

I dont think he was banned. Instead he is having problems being locked out because he tried to use a yahoo email address.
 
Has the lack of e-mail response ever been addressed? Has a moderator ever explained why? Red Dawn used to be a mod, right? Maybe he could ad some insight into why e-mails seem to go unanswered the vast majority of the time.

Yes the lack of e-mail responses has been addressed several times. The explaination was that the moderator@anandtech.com account receives hundreds of emails each day and it is difficult to keep up with everyone of them. As for Red Dawn being a MOD or ex-Mod I have no idea of that and I think it probably is not a good idea to mention anything of that nature. Attempting to name MODs is definitely not a good idea. It has earned many members vacations and permanent bans.
 
Whenever I've PM'd the mods they usually respond within a day.

Try posting this in the correct forum (Forum Issues), shoot them off another polite e-mail and PM them.
