Is there a reason why the Moderator Discussion forum isn't in the left nav pane? Is it because of the way that category is set up? It's not that much of a burden to go to the index to get to it, I just think that it's often overlooked because it's not in the usual list.
 
Yes, it was discussed here before but I don't recall the reason. Seemed unimportant.
Lots of people get rid of the left nav anyway.
