Anybody know how to progress a matter with a volunteer moderator abusing their power in one of the groups? I've kept a PM log of this problem, where the moderator first cancelled my threads, accused me of doing things I have not done (and can easily prove I didn't), and then made some underlying threats.
These forums are great, but not when somebody decides to use their "power" to intimidate users, especially those that have PAID to use this service such as I have through the subscription I have.

first off, I have to ask this question, are you inqiring as to advertising on anandtech.com? if not, its not appropriate to E-mail that address.
abuse@anandtech.com won't do anything for you.
subscriber@anandtech.com is for subscription issues, this is not the case for you, that address is already flooded and adding inane messages to it doesn't accomplish anything.
as for your problem with the moderators, you need to address that with them, you need to e-mail
moderator@anandtech.com they will be able to deal with it appropriatly and send it to the right person / people. other then that, just do what they say.
just because you paid for a subscription, does not give you any more leaniance on the rules or how your treated I am a subscriber myself and I would not expect that treatment. its also in the subscriber TOS that I suggest you take a gander at.

PREMIUM MEMBER SERVICES SUBSCRIPTION AGREEMENT
This agreement sets forth the terms and conditions for a Premium Member Services Subscription by and between you and ANANDTECH, INC. ("ANANDTECH"), a North Carolina corporation.
1. Premium Services Subscription. Upon receipt of payment for your subscription, ANANDTECH will classify you as a "Premium Member" and make available to you for the term of your subscription the following services ("Premium Member Services") to enhance your access and use of the "Forums" located at subscriber.anandtech.com (the "Site"):
a. Increased private message limit. Premium Members will be allowed storage of up to 1,000 private messages or 1 megabyte, whichever comes first.
b. Dedicated Server Access. Premium Members will be provided access to the Forums via a server ("Dedicated Server") reserved for such members. The Dedicated Server shall have the same or better capabilities than the servers otherwise used by non-Premium Members to access the Forums and shall carry a lighter load than the customary servers. The Dedicated Server shall also be allocated more bandwidth than the servers otherwise used by non-Premium Members.
c. Full-Text Searching. Premium Members will be provided access to conduct searches of the entire body of a posted message, not just the message headers.
d. Buddy Lists. Premium Members will be provided access to the Forums Buddy List feature which allows you to have a window appear containing your buddies when you login to the Forums.
e. No banner ads. Premium Members will be provided access to the Forums without any graphical banner advertisements at the top or bottom of the Forums.
2. Subscription Fees. You agree to pay the quarterly, semi-annual or annual fee in the amount set forth at the Site, including any applicable taxes, government surcharges or other charges incurred on account of your access to the Premium Member Services. ANANDTECH reserves the right to increase its fees at any time upon notice posted in advance on the Site. Premium Services may be discontinued, with or without notice, upon expiration of your subscription thereto. Your submission of payment authorization constitutes your agreement to the terms and conditions contained herein. Your subscription term begins the date you are provided access to the Dedicated Server. Payments are non-refundable.

In no event will ANANDTECH be liable for (a) incidental, special, consequential, direct or indirect damages including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, business interruption or loss of programs or data, arising out of the use or inability to use the PREMIUM MEMBER SERVICES or the Site or Forums, even if ANANDTECH has been advised of the possibility of such damages, or (b) unauthorized use or access to your transmissions, (c) conduct of any third party, or (d) any other matter relating to Premium Member Services. You further agree that ANANDTECH shall not be liable for any damages arising from interruption, suspension or termination of PREMIUM MEMBER SERVICES, whether such actions were justified or not, negligent or intentional, inadvertent or advertent. Any liability of ANANDTECH based on a claim brought by you in connection with your use of PREMIUM MEMBER SERVICES or the Site or the Forums, shall be limited to the amount paid by you hereunder during the one-year period immediately preceding the alleged damage. 6. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ANANDTECH, its affiliates, officers, directors, agents and employees, from and against any and all liability, losses, claims, demands, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) based upon or arising out of your use of PREMIUM MEMBER SERVICES, the Site or the Forums. ANANDTECH reserves the right to defend any such claim and may assume exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, which shall not excuse your indemnification obligations herein.
7. Proprietary Rights. You agree that as between you and ANANDTECH, all content, including but not limited to text, logos, graphics and software, is protected by ANANDTECH's proprietary rights or that of its licensors. You agree not to reuse, republish or otherwise distribute the content or any derivative works of the content, whether over the Internet or otherwise, and that you will not in any way violate the intellectual property laws protecting the content.
8. Jurisdiction. Premium Member Services, the Site and the Forums are controlled by ANANDTECH from its offices in Raleigh, North Carolina. All matter relating to this Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the state of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions. Any action brought in connection with this Agreement shall be filed within one year of the date of the alleged injury, regardless of any statute of limitations. Any legal action or proceeding relating to this Agreement, or your access to Premium Member Services, the Site or the Forums shall be instituted in a state or federal court in Wake County, North Carolina. You and ANANDTECH agree to submit to the jurisdiction of, and agree that venue is proper in, these courts in any such legal action or proceeding.
8. General Provisions. This Agreement contains the entire agreement between the parties as to the subject matter herein and the terms hereof are all contractual and not a mere recital. You may also be subject to additional terms and conditions that may apply when you use third-party content or third-party software. No party to this Agreement has relied upon any oral or written representations, express or implied warranties, or agreements that are not expressly contained in the body of this Agreement. The parties hereto expressly agree that, if a court of competent jurisdiction deems any of the language contained in this Agreement to be vague or ambiguous, such language shall not be presumptively construed against any party but shall be construed to give effect to the true intentions of the parties. The headings contained in this Agreement are included only for convenience and reference and said headings shall not be used in construing this Agreement and shall have no binding effect upon the parties hereto.
