I am in need of modem for my Dell SC400. I wants Non Soft mode or window based. It has to be PCI/Ext.
Like to get V92; if I could.
I look at pricewatch and I can't its software based or real its own hardware.
Any tips ?
 
I have Cable modem, for Internet and stuff.
I need modem for Backup purpose and Faxing

How about this= I have some good but used Hardware External 56K's by Rockwell and USR (conexant chips) that preform well and will sell you 1 for less then half that price Mem linked you to.... You can check my Heatware in my Sig so if you're interested PM me.
 
Check out the USR 2977. Decent price on it at newegg. Its a v.90 hardware modem, and has had excellent reliability and speed reviews for at least the past 2 years.
