Modem Users What Are You Connected At?

Used to connect at 28.8 for through my schools dialup or use excite's free service with ads at 56k but, now I have DSL so I am very happy.

For the meantime anyway because I am leaving in june, so I probably will not keep broadband after that unless I can get it for under thirty bucks a month...

(For me anyway). Now I'm on a nice little ethernet connection at - you guessed it - UCSB.

56K service, 56K modem, but I can only connect at a MAX of 28.8K, apparently from too many analog-digital conversions (according to the 3COM/USR diagnostic line test utility). Same problem with my sisters house 8 miles away.
