Well, considering that I live in rural Indiana, broadband will never be available in this area, and I'll be stuck on dialup until I go off to college somewhere where they actually have technology. But at least for right now, I can't complain about my nice 52-53kbit/sec connect speeds on my modem, with a good dialup provider.

Yea, sorry guys about the rant, but I have to let off steam somewhere 🙂

Test running..........
** Speed 1900(down)/367(up) kbps **
(At least 40 times faster than a 56k modem)
Finish.

oh... you guys arn't talking cable modem?
😀

i'm home from spring break now. connecting at 50 most of the time. I got lucky and connected at 54 last time.

It's a hardware URS pci modem
