Modem, router, and switch making a mess?

Put them all in one box!

That's a dialup router running freesco, the modem and switch get power from a duplex recepticle mounted inside. Yes, that is a 33.6 modem. Given that our lines won't do over 28.8, I don't feel the need to use the 56k (which it does have one). Just add a single power cord and you're ready to go. The cover for the modem and switch is a piece of scrap smoke colored lexan that I found, the flash on the camera has a tendancy to show right through it.

Not just an old case. There's still a computer running headless inside that the modem's connected to.

The power supply is attached to the outlets that I mounted inside of the case, the phone cord is the one closest to the front on the side, and the serial port just goes straight to the internal header. Software wise, Freesco does all the dialing, firewalling, and routing.
