The last models I built were used for making scratch built slot cars.

Basicaly you build just the body, no interior, engine, etc. then you design and build the rest of the car out of brass.
There is a club here in town that has a private track and they have races for differant class's and years of body types. (Stock car pre 60's, GTP, etc.) It has all the fun of model building PLUS you get to design and build your own chassie (SP) and then RACE it against others who do the same.

Sorry I don't have any PIC'S of any of the cars I built. Some LOWLIFE stole my camera.

here are some examples
and here
and once again here
and a BUNCH of links to slot cars sites
some REALLY NICE scratch built pic's here
some more cool ones

They need to make normal 4x4 truck models.... instead all I ever see is Monster and *laugh* "Race Trucks"

Oooooh!!! There's 3 up there...I want one too 😀 (after all, it IS a Shelby...)

I find it odd that it has to be imported from Japan as well 😛

Fujimi easily has some of the MOST detailed 1/24 scale kits on the planet. I'd rank Fujimi #1 followed by Tamiya. Revell-Monogram and AMT/ERTL are closer to mid-pack.

But I DID bid on the Shelby Cobra...I just couldn't resist 😀

They have some cool models too - Can't remember ever seeing a model Civic SiR II 😉 They even have a GT40 :Q

I'm gonna have to order one of their kits 🙂

I haven't worked on it for a while, but I painted everything just as I should so far. I'll post pics of it when I'm done 😉

kick ass man!! 😀
I wanted a 2nd gen Neon R/T model but I'll never find one...

all the models in my room are Dodges... 69 Charger, 68 Super Bee, 71 GTX, 70 Superbird, 70 Challenger, Dodge Ram 2500
Viper RT/10, 2 Viper GTS's, Dodge Ram 3500
think there may be more.. hmm
