Modding projects - using laptop LCD panels

I have several dead laptops with perfectly good LCD displays and would like to use these LCD panels for some tech. projects.

Are there any instructions here on how to wire up these laptop displays for use on various projects.

perfectly good laptop displays are coveted on ebay...for the obvious reasons. sell them.

Yea, you'd do better selling them. LCDs have been out long enough now, and are starting to show up in thrift shops. That would probably be a better bet for a project screen.

yea you have to really need a specific panel and custom project requirement to justify it, the controller costs as much as a cheap desktop display now..if not more.

and you can even sell the laptop chassis after you remove the panel... many are sold as is for parts on ebay.
