My Machine

Yeah, I'm tooting my own horn, so to speak. I've been working on sleeving some of the cables (although you can't really tell), and I'm mostly waiting for the tools to replace the ones that broke so that I can do the two power supplies. And I'm going to be working on the web page as well when I have more time, and I don't have to work in 5 hours...

Wow, SWEET rig!

All your pics are of the PSUs though, which are boring. More motherboard shots!

LOL... Alright. I'll do that tomorrow... I gotta get to bed. Thanks though. My site is going to be changed a lot--just wanted to get something up real quick. If you have suggestions for that too, let me know.

what did you use to duct the 2 fans to the heatsink on the mobo?

This is what I used. Pretty nice actually. Didn't benchmark without it though. And I've updated my page so that these are listed on there as well...

Nice computer you got there. :)

I would try and clean up your cables a bit, maybe some pull-ties and plastic flex-tube.

It would be nice to have a roomy case like that but it would SUCk to drag to LAN Partys! :p

hehehehe. No sh!t about carrying it. The thing weighs like 150 pounds. And I'm working on doing all of the cables and stuff. Damn SVC to hell, their tools broke on me, so I have to wait for the new ones (from a new place, obviously). Hopefully I will get my two hard drives and mod tools despite the coming hurricane...

Actually I think I'm gonna run out to Radio Shack when I have time and pick up a few feet of 1/2" and 3/4" black corrugated tubing. I use red right now and it looks like sh!t.

Yeah, I'm sticking with all black for my cabling. The only thing I'm changing is that all the connectors for my primary power supply will be blue UV, and all connectors for my secondary power supply will be black, just so that I will be able to tell them apart.

I'll stick to white stock Molex connectors...way too much work switching them off. Hey get some LED fans for the CPUs.

I am... 11 LED fans, and 4 UV fans total. As soon as I get a spare $160 plus shipping. I can't wait until I finish this. It's going to be awesome. I just hate waiting. Like now, I have to sit here and wait til the t o ols get here so that I can start redoing my power supplies.

Look at the link on my original post, at the very top! And I don't have the LED fans yet--I'm still working on the money for that. I'm working on the cabling for the two power supplies, and then comes the 3 windows on the left side panel, and then the replacing of all the case fans. Hence, modding my case, one project at a time. :)

I have my list for upgrades, although I don't know what I'm going to be using for controllers. I might just solder some switches in, and be done with it. But here are my fan upgrades:

8 of these for case intake

1 of these for the side panel over the video card

2 of these for case exhaust & side panel over CPUs

1 of these for the side panel top exhaust

2 of these for the CPU fans.

Yes. I've researched the kits, and I can do it cheaper manually... I can get plexiglass 1/4" thick at $6.50 per square foot, and I am getting the translucent molding from performance-pcs (can't link to it, as the site is blocked for some reason at work)...
