I finished my tbird 1ghz a while back. Its on a Abit KT7. When I try to pick my computer up (mod-handle) Its about 35 pounds. sufficive to say... this is one bitch ass heavy case. Anyways I'm looking into micro-atx cases or small mid-towers. I've looked for 2 days and haven't found anything I like that will hold my motherboard. So heres my idea. I've got an old ATX case lying around and I'm gonna remove the back panel from it (drill out rivets and cut it at the bottom). I'm going to remove the backpanel from the micro-atx case and replace it with the atx case backpanel (cutting off the powersupply hole at the top). I'm going to cut to the right of the keyboard connectors a hole big enough to stick the p/s through and mount it vertically (I've got a Chrome Orb but It should clear). Anyone attempted this? I could really use some help here. Thanks all.

Someone in the buy/sell forum had some OEM HP cases that would fit the bill. Only problem is that I think the PS was smaller then what you would want with your athlon. I can't recall if it was a standard size PS or not, just that it was a measly 160W. The case looked to be about the height of an ATX mobo. He only wanted $35 for them plus shipping and they were new. Might want to check it out.
