Modding Hard Drive Enclosure

I got one of those Vantec eSATA enclosures and the drive (Seagate 7200.10 320 GB) runs pretty hot (~46C). I was thinking of mounting a fan on the side to blow air in but don't know how to power the fan. It's an 80mm fan with 2 pins (no speed sensor).

What would be a sensible way to wire this up? Attaching the fan is not an issue because I've already thought of a pretty good method for that. The circuitry is the tough part.

Well, isn't the drive powered by 12 v ? There should be a way to tap that power inside the case.

I've already started and almost finished the mod. The fan is powered by a spare DC adapter giving out 6v @ 0.35 A. Perfect for running an 80mm fan at low speed.

The project looks like ass but hopefully the functionality will outweigh that.
