modd xp2400+ to mp

hi all gurus
I have a question about modding athlon xp 2400+ to mp 2400+
I think to buy twol xp2400 processors and MSI K7master-duaL, then to close the L5 bridge and to be happy with my new dual amd system on lower price
1.Is this posible with this type processor ?
2.What are the bad sides ?
3.Any suggestions are wellcome
4.Where can find more explained documentation
