I remember hearing they ARE opening a Fry's in Atlanta as well, no?
I remember, cuz I looked to see how long it would take me to get there, and it turned out to be 11 hours. Poo!
It was posted on here a couple months ago.

Any news on the store opening? I mean, besides driving by the back entrance and looking to see how the construction is going.... (tee hee!).....

Doubt it. A few years ago ~1999, Fry's as a chain reported ~$6 billion in annual revenue.

I was able to LOOK into the new Frys store in Renton ( Just Across the street from Coulon Park )

The Racks are going up but no stock in sight as of today.

My guess would be two weeks.

😀😀 and that new construction next to City Hall is a new SAMS CLUB !

I would think it would take more than 2 weeks to get everything set up inside. There is a sh!tload of stuff in these stores normally!

Yeah, I did that, 'cause I'm that kind of nerd. Someone told me they were supposed to open on the 16th - I think I saw that in the Seattle Times article, mebbe - but I can't see that happening - no stock visible, and they even seemed to still be working on wiring in the store.

Soon... we can hope.

Those salespeople get that much a year to do nothing, Fry's has awesome prices but never is the place to ask any technical questions, just stay clear of the rebagged returned items.

Sam's Club have deals better than what Costco, BB, or Fry's would have?

Can someone who goes to the Renton store lemme know of any good deals? Unfortunately I have been mobilized to patriotic duties which limits my access to going to Renton...... (God i miss Seattle *sob). Anwyz I can still order by phone!~ I hope some one can lend me a reply and hook me up w/ some good deals they see in Renton, Thx a bunch!

Best buy, CompUSA, other comparable stores in Tukwila, and certainly the City of Tukwila will loose some sales/tax revenue to Frys. This is great for the City of Renton. However, I think Fry's would need to open 50 stores in Renton to make up for boeing's "about-face".

Yeah, it sure doesn't look like a July 16th opening date. One of us should try to find out from Fry's corporate offices, and then we can post the info.

YES! You should go get in line now, or you are going to miss all of the good grand opening deals.

Like empty shelving, 3 for .99c, or lighting fixtures, 12 for $5.

D*mn Frys, they're probably going to make us wait another week for the opening.

There use to be a frys here a while back. It was in near the SuperMall, where the sams club is at right now actually. But it closed down.
