Like some Mod messages, some members also have cryptic riddle signatures that are in bold. So how do you tell if it's a sig, or added by a Mod?


Look at the bottom of this post.
See where it says "Edited by AnandTech Moderator"

Actually, many, if not all, of the sig mod quotes are authentic, though, as the mod chimed in, the only ones you can vouch for are the ones where the post has been edited by a mod.

(Note to self: stop with the commas.)

As Hossenfeffer pointed out, you'd be suprised at how many of the "outrageous" ones are authentic. You've got to wonder where they come up with the things that they do.
 
One thing to keep in mind is that if the author of the original post edits the post after the moderator edit the most recent edit will then be by the member.
