I bought two ibm trackpoint replacements from this guy for $4 shipped. (yes, it is only 4 bucks)
found out that my friend has two extra that he doesn't need at all, so I try to see if can I get a refund.
at first, he wanted me to pay for all his expenses.

Stamp and envelope $.47
Ebay fees $.65
Paypal Fees $.30

total $1.32

$3.99 - 1.32 - refund of $2.67

now, he refuses to refund.

paid by paypal non-cc payment

what should i do? neg him? thanks to the guys in here, i learned to have a separate selling account 😉
looks like a neg feedback is worth it 😀

Umm... its your fault, you shouldnt give him a neg for that, no way he deserves a neg cuz he didnt do anything wrong.
Sellers are not obligated to refund your purchase just because you bought things on a whim.

WTF?

You won the auction, it does not matter if your friend will give them to you for free.

Stick them back on eBay. Christ.

You fvcked up, you're the one who should get a negative

Yea... its $4. Seriously if your logging into ATOT and griping you've spent too much time already on the matter. Get over it and just put it back on ebay.

Or even if "you're"...

So, you getting the point, yet? 😉

Easy resolution:

1. You do nothing in regards to a refund. You bid for it, you won. Suck it up.
2. You email, apologizing for not thinking things through.
3. Voice thanks to the seller for even -entertaining- the thought of a buyer's remorse refund.

Don't be a cheapbutt, just suck it up, It's only $4. I make that much money just sitting here, thinking about and then post this message. (okay, give or take a couple minutes)

Then again, I spent $51+ $10 tip last night eating at Copeland's Cheesecake Bistro with a friend. Food is good, but overpriced. I'll go to PF Chang's next time instead.

In case you still haven't come to grips with what you should do; here is a re-cap:

Good lord what a weenie

People like him are the reason why I (as a seller) don't leave FB until the buyer does (or a couple of weeks have gone by).

I agree with everyone else--GET OVER IT!

This is not only "Off Topic" it should be "Off the Map".

I hope you think this thing thru and give the seller a "Positive" feedback.

Did you ship the stuff back to him already? If so, then you are right in this case. If you haven't sent the stuff back already and he changed his mind, then you have no argument.
