Many forums have Moderator Alert buttons. They should implement that here. I know Fusetalk is capable of it. If it gets abused, then the offenders can be dealt with accordingly.
 
Just add Anandtech Moderator to your Buddy List. This feature can easily tell if they're online when the light bulb lits up.
