Mod a PC to play X-Box games?

Hello,
I've always been a PC gamer, but more the strategy kind, like Blizzard games. But since I've been hearing so much about Halo2 these days, I'm wondering if there is a reasonable way to get X-Box games to work on PC.

I'm sure that someone has done it, but I don't want to have to solder, change motherboards or do major surgery to make it work. For example, is there a software emulator for it? After all, it is Microsoft and the disks are DVD's. So I figure their may be some emulator out there that works.

Ideas?

a while ago i read about an xbox emulator in the works, but it was nowhere near useable at that time. i would suggest going to xbox-scene.com and looking.

if the specs in your sig are correct, itd probably be cheaper to just buy an xbox, instead of upgrading your computer to the point where it could run any kind of an xbox emulator.
