If either party can produce a decent candidate be they male, female, black, white, purple, hermaphrodite, you name it, I'll vote for them. Too bad neither major party had produced an acceptable presidential candidate in either of the last two elections.

Clinton if she is anything like her husband would get the thumbs up in my books. However i think the Clinton fiasco, new england senator, woman, fear mongering will really put some resistance in her election.

Condi would be running for a party which has strong principles of rule by majority. Condi being black and single will get looked down on. She doesn't seem to have that charisma or joe smoe appeal other presidents have had.

Both are unelectable...

I will actively campaign for Bayh, and i think he is the only democrat with a hope in hell of winning. (aor who i'd want to win)

it's been far more then 2 elections since either party put up somthing worth even considering. My wife says "but voting outside the major parties is throwing your vote away" and I reply with "no, voting against your ideals and beliefs because they don't have a captial R or D by their name is throwing it away".

And no "true" conservative has voted republican in forever. Most "true" conservatives are really libertarians or constutionalists in hiding!

As stated in another thread. Hillary would win easily.

Assuming that only those two were on the ballot, it is my assumption that
90% of the voting conservatives would vote for Condi, 5% would vote for Hillary, and 5% that are racists would vote for Hillary. About 30% of the voting conservatives would vote.

60% of the voting liberals would vote for Hillary because she is ultra liberal. 20% would vote for her because she is Democrat. 20% would vote for her because they are dead and have no choice. 80% of the liberals would turn out to vote because they would not allow a black woman into such a powerful office.

No need to mention what moderates would do, the overwhelming numbers of liberal voters would carry the day.
