What a race it would be! The first time the United States ran two women, both supposedly being pro-choice, and both, rumored to be lesbians. :D Just kidding.

The second question is to better see how representative AT'ers are to the rest of the country.

I imagine that would be true for most people, and vice versa too, people voting against Hillary.

Agreed. it's also like picking between Bush or Gore, or Bush or Kerry, IMO.

I think it's time to move to Canada . . . or Cuba.

Obviously, Rice or Clinton would be better than other female upstarts (Dole, ewww). But Rice is a tool with Bush baggage, while Clinton has her pile of bricks AND her husbands.

How about some candidates that aren't associated with autopilot government of the 90s or the idiot-pilot government that followed?

I wish that were an option on the ballot, but we all know it was never, and will never, be.

I voed Hillary, however I would like better choices.
I hold out hope that someday we will be electing our leaders on the basis of ability to lead our country, not support someones agenda in order to get funding for their next campaign

I've heard the argument that Condi would pull some of the black vote (obviously more than the 10% a Republican typically gets) and that's great and all, except blacks don't tend to vote in Republican primaries. I think it's unlikely the Republicans will all agree to nominate the person who will have the best chance in the national election, if that were the case they would have gone with McCain in 2000 and he probably would have had a substantial margin of victory over Gore.

Oh and while Condi might get a substantial amount of the black vote if nominated, she's going to lose a substantial amount of the southern white vote (and there's far more of those than there are black votes). It works both ways. Not saying they'd vote for Hillary, but we'd probably see the largest amount of 3rd party votes in recent history.

We also don't know what skeletons Condi has in her closet. Hillarys have been out for years yet.

Upon further review . . .

One I wouldn't vote for on a bet, the other at least has some congressional credibility.

Condi has never held an elected office - has she ?

Hilliary at least has a faithfull voting base, and won a Senate seat.

As much as I like Nader, I'd vote for your dog. I want to see the president lick himself and sh*t at a press conference. That'd be the most honest leader we ever have.

Evan Bayh/Bill Richardson FTW!

Ok, in this situation though, I'd go with Hillary in a heartbeat.

Zappa (my dog) also promises in her term to bring real Honor, Dignity, and Respect to the white house.

Hillary doesn't have a lesbian bone in her body, imo.

I always thought she was asexual, myself.

I thought Vince Foster was hittin' that. He didn't satisfy her so she had him knocked off . . . so sayeth Jesus' earthly advocate Jerry Falwell. He even made a video. I'm pretty sure the Lord served as production manager.

Hillary would own Rice in the debates. Condi seems too fragile, Hillary has balls like Maggy Thatcher(who has more balls than Bush or Kerry). The match up will never happen.

Not only that, Condi would have to get a boyfriend to stop the obvious questions;)

hasn't Condi stated -- 100% leaving, no room for error -- that she had no plans or desires to run for president and would not be doing so?

I doubt many Republicans in the south would want to vote for a woman... I doubt even more that many Republicans in the south would want to vote for a BLACK woman.
