I can't think of any Republican or Democrat candidate I would vote for.

Two words for Democrats:

Evan Bayh

I hope the Democrats have learned their lesson and do this, but I doubt it.

All the Democrats would have to do to get the moderates from both parties voting for them again would be to nominate moderates and distance themselves from moveon.org and crew.

Unfortunlately, moveon.org and crew are taking in just as much donation money as the DNC is lately so this might be hoping too much.

Everyone say they doubt bush duba would run in 08, but I doubt hillary would run...

Tho if she did I would vote for her...

The only two choices we have are another Bush or another Clinton? Spare me.

Well you guys could launch me past Hillary in the Primaries.

The funny thing about this is that Dave is actually serious.

In bizzarro world Dave is sane and people take him seriously. 😉

The way Jeb turned the whole Schiavo incident into his personal witch hunt should be enough to convince any of you we don't need another vigilante cowboy in the executive branch.

I would like to agree, but instituting a congressional investigation of grand theft auto looms to mind. I'd think on that basis they are equally unappealing.

Hillary would be a decent choice. Check out the great job her husband did, btw, just think of the great economic conditions during Clinton's Presidency, his careful balancing of the budget, his great contributions in working for peace in the Middle East, his ability to maintain decent relationships between the USA and other nations, and on and on. If Hillary is even half as decent as her husband as a President, then she will be 100 times better than Dumbya, let's face it.

just think of the great economic conditions during Clinton's Presidency
President's have very little, if any, control over the state of the economy...the dot.com surge and consumer confidence artificially inflated the economy of the late 1990s, which had no place to go but into a recession once investors recognized the smoke and mirrors on Wall Street for what they were. Clinton was careful in balancing the budget, but then again he didn't initiate much in the way of programs to address issues such as social security, health care and unemployment...Clinton is probably the best conservative spending President we have had in decades.

his great contributions in working for peace in the Middle East
Peace broke out in the Middle East during the Clinton Presidency...did I miss something. Israel and the Palestinians are still at each other's throat...he chose to maintain the status quo with regards to Iraq...and his Administration missed the opportunity to contain Al Quaida during as Bin Laden started to develop his network and power base.

his ability to maintain decent relationships between the USA and other nations
There is no doubt that Clinton had a very agreeable personality, and that our allies certainly respected his sensitivity to international affairs...then again, you have his foreign policy blunders of Somalia, Bosnia, and Kosovo.

If Hillary is even half as decent as her husband as a President, then she will be 100 times better than Dumbya, let's face it.
While the GWB Presidency is a complete failure, the Clinton Presidency was hardly the sparkling jewel of American politics...When was the last time that this country actually had an inspired leader as President?
