Mock Election

While the primaries might create a different Presidential race let's assume 2008 comes down to Jeb Bush vs Hillary Clinton. Who do you vote for?

Why those candidates? Because it's my post and I think it would be a good match.

And if your answer is 'neither'. Don't vote 🙂

Chuck Hagel . . . with a Democratic Senate and House.

Hilary Clinton . . . with a Democratic Senate and Republican House.

Jeb Bush . . . can stay with his mosquitoes.

Bill Frist . . . can stop pretending to be bad doctor and be a practicing bad doctor.

I refuse to vote for anyone named "Jeb". Not because I mind it so much, it's just that we might as well tell other countries that all their American jokes are true 😉

If I recall correctly Jeb is not his name, those are his initials. but I guess he is still jb in the end.

I'm pretty sure Jeb would win over Hillary, but he's not running. He'll probably run in 2016 or something.

And then there is the tin-foil-hat club and their "Bush Dynasty" talk. We'd never hear the end of it.

As oppossed to the 'Clinton Dynasty'. Which btw will be cemented in stone when they catch Hillary with a guy from Chippendales in the oval office.

I don't think Jeb will run. But my answer is anybody but Hillary.

After the last 8 years of Bush, the sheeple will switch to Anybody But Bush because enough people have been negatively affected by the Bush Regime.

That's exactly the reason he lost in 2004...oh wait...

Your average person has a very short memory. Anything Bush (GW or JEB) does more than a year before the election will just be forgotten and nobody will care.

On the poll: What are the results? I refuse to vote for either of those candidates but I still want to see the results.

Given the choice of just two with no independent I would refuse to vote and hope everyone else did the same. BTW I have voted in every presidential race for quite a while.

You are right. His name is actually John Ellis Bush. Maybe if he ran we could get bumper stickers that say "E" on them, like "W".😛

its a bit slanted, those of us (like me) from the nyc area know very little about florida politics (despite relatives i have there)
i guess that could work both ways. but jeb bush is little more than a name for me.

We need an option for

[x]..None of the above is acceptable.

We need that option in real life, too. 😎

The way Jeb turned the whole Schiavo incident into his personal witch hunt should be enough to convince any of you we don't need another vigilante cowboy in the executive branch.

I'm an accomplished misogynist, but this is a Bush we're talking about. Not just any Bush, but one named "Jeb" (who'd be his running mate, Cletus the Slackjawed Yokel?). Not just any Bush named Jeb, but one with a history of doing whatever it takes to win, legal or not. I'd vote for anyone over him, including any/all of the Spice Girls, Britney Spears or Ru Paul.

Probably not, this country is not even close to as progressive as we pretend to be when it comes to equal treatment for women.

Personally I'd like a female president, if only so our foreign policy could be based on something other than what appears to be testosterone fueled pissing contests.

No, not quite enough were negatively affected yet. The massive layoffs of 25,000 to 50,000 a clip a week happened after the Nov 2004 Election as I knew they would.

So far it has been running 2 to 1 Hillary over Bush which is better than the pools before the Nov 2004 disaster.

However it all doesn't matter if the Republicans are successful in securing the Mexican vote which it looks like they are on track to do with the continued open border and instant naturalization of those crossing the border.

Might as well shut down the Democrat party and declare the Unestados the same as Cuba.
