mobo ram divider problems

I have a DFI Nforce4 lan party SLi... with 2x 1gb supertalent 3200, CL 3.0..

when I try to use the ram divder the computer won't boot.. I won't even touch the FSB.. just lowering the divider to 3/4 or 5/6...

Is some ram not compatible with divders.. or am I missing something?.. the lan party has a lot of options I don't understand
