Okay heres whats up.

I have a MSI k7t turbo motherboard with a Microsoft intelimouse explorer 3.0 mouse. I will be able to use the mouse for about 5mins then BAM* the mouse stops working. the light on the mouse goes off. But it does come back on for like 2 secinds then it goies out agian. It will do this for a while, then finally it sill stop and my computer will shut down.

It doesnt matter what brand of mouse "logitech/microsoft" i use or if i install it on the usb or ps2 port.

Ive also had some problems with my computer and i think it is all related to my mobo. these problems happen in xp/2k and 98.

This most likely has nothing to do with your mouse. Boot the computer with no mouse plugged in at all and see what happens. What kind/size power supply do you have?

i dont really know why its happening buy maybe your psu is too weak or out of power by all those components you have in your computer. whats the max wattage for your psu?
