MoBo install question??

I was just wondering about these little fiber looking washer's that came with my mobo. Do they go between the mobo and the case/plate for the mobo or under the screws that attach the mobo to this case plate?? Does the mobo have to make ground to this plate or something?

not absolutely necessary to use them but I put them between the screw head & m/board!

They go between the screw and the motherboard to make sure the screw head doesn't short across any circuit leads. You definitely don't want the mobo grounding to anything.
