Hi guys,

Really need your help. I'm the happy owner af a Pentium M 770 installed in a Asus P4P800-e DLX (with a Asus CT-479 adapter). It runs fantastic at 2,8 ghz - it's a giant!!!

But........ My Ati 9800 pro just left the building, and I do not want to put a lot of money into an other AGP card. So I need some advice regarding a GOOD overclockable board with PCI-E.

To get the maximum out of my P-M 770, I need to be able to adjust Vcore, Vdimm, FSB and multiplier...

Please advice .........

Asus has one, but it's generally regarded as european only and when they sell on ebay they go for >300 bucks. For under 400, you can get a shuttle SD11G5, which has PCI-E and takes a pentium m. Since you already have a 533 fsb pm, you can overclock up to a quad pumped 166 fsb on the shuttle. You should be able to run it at ~2.7 ghz in a tiny box that is next to silent since it has a power brick style power supply.

European only sounds good, since I'm danish :)... Which Asus board is that? Does it have PCI-e lock as well?

Asus makes the P4GD1 which is based on the intel 915 chipset and is compatible with the ct479 adaptor. They also make the P4GPL-X based on the 915PL chipset, but I have no idea if that's compatible with the adaptor. They have some ATI boards as well, but I'm not sure about the adaptor on those as well.

Let me know if you find the P4GD1 for sale for under 150 USD, I need one myself for my 750 as it's just sitting on a desk right now.

EDIT: Just checked asus's website, the P4GPL-X does support the ct479 adaptor. There's one on ebay, buy it now for $99 with $25 shipping in Europe.
