I need a good mobo that OC's well with this CPU with no problems for a gaming machine. Case/cooling/CPU cooling/PS is all ready taken care of.I'll be using 4-8 Gb of DDR 3 1600,probably G.Skill Ripjaw. I don't run multitasking, and I close all programs before I play my games. Also, the mobo I want doesn't need SATA 3 or any other new hardware upgrades. Also, my OS will be Win 7

That's the 790X territory. There is no 890X chipset but Gigabyte came up with 790X + SB850 combination.

790X + SB750: ASUS M4A79XTD EVO
790X + SB850: GIGABYTE GA-790XTA-UD4, GIGABYTE GA-890XA-UD3

I've used Gigabyte 790X-UD4P which is 790X + SB750 and DDR2-based. It has been a rock solid board for over a year, but overclocking options are very limited. I did not have much beef with it because I used a BE chip (unlocked multi). If you like to toy with HTT, memory ratio, and timings, etc. I would probably go with an ASUS board. If you can afford extra $20-ish, ASUS M4A89GTD Pro is one of the best overclocking boards without going into the 890FX territory.
