i have 2x256mb ram in dual channel right now but i want to get it up to 1gig so i can game better. I'm just wondering if i should
1) get rid of the ram i have now and buy 2x512mb sticks
2) buy another 512mb stick and put it in my 3rd slot (i have 4 in total)
3) buy another pair of 2x256ram stick and put them in the 3rd and 4th slot?

Ok, so I think I will by two more identical 512mb rams to run in dual channel. Should I keep the 2x256 I have right now so I will have 1.5gig in total? (Or what is this T2 command thing I hear)

Also, I have P4P800-VM and they have a DDR QVL list

The ram I'm considering buying is KVR400X64C25/512
http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/configurator/PartsInfo.asp?ktcpartno=KVR400X64C25/512
but it is not on the list here
http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/con...SUS&model=P4P800&distributor=0&submit1=Search

KVR400X64C3A/512 however is.

I asked their support and they said the only difference between the two is C25 has CL2.5 while C3A has CL3. So will it work in my mobo?

You can see that KVR333X64C25/512 is on the list too but that's only DDR333 :/

Please help! Thanks :)
