Welcome to the forum! You might want to list some details. For instance, how much do you want to spend? $100? $1000? Also, listing what parts you are going to bring with you, especially the type of ram you have, would help make the decision easier.

Anyway, you're going to want an Athlon XP CPU for that system. However, the newer models would probably require a BIOS update to work correctly with that board. I'd go for an XP 2100+ or something like that, that would probably be supported.
 
I think he said he wanted a new motherboard and processor.

The first choice you need to make is AMD or Intel. Personally, I think you get the most bang for your buck by going with an AMD system.

Do you have any Fry's retail stores in your area? The reason I ask is that they seem to constantly be advertising AMD and motherboard combos for incredibly low prices.
