Hi,
Mother board: ASRock Z68M/USB3 Socket 1155 Intel Z68
http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=Z68M/USB3
RAM: Mushkin Silverline 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1333MHz CL9
http://www.mushkin.com/Memory/Silverline/996770.aspx
Is it OK to use only ONE module of RAM? Reason: assemble two computers. For cusual web/office usage. 4 GB of RAM would be enough. As there is a sale at my local computer store on the 2x4GB modules above. I wonder if I can split that RAM kit to fit both computers.
In case this works OK, are there any adverse effects for doing so?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
