Mobile video/DVR

I want to install a video camera in my SUV and record day-to-day driving activities. I saw some DVRs out there, but not sure what's best for vehicles. DVR and capability to record sound preferred. Similar to what the police cruisers use. any suggestions?

we tend to dive into personal reasons, not really what you want, but why you want to do it.

but since this is the garage...are you mounting the camera someplace specific?

We just got a price around $4,000, but we are buying 1500 of them. How much did you want to spend? Thats ONLY for the dvr, if you want the whole package installed with a 3 year warranty it's around $18,000. You do have a Crown Vic don't you, cause that's what this is based on. Still intrested...🙂

ah man, that's a crazy price. if you wanna sell me one at a discount, pm me ;-)

i guess it may be cheaper to just fab one up... i believe supercircuits has all the cameras and dvrs and microphones separately. ah well, i'll update back if i ever get one installed (not that anyone cares)

I agree, we're lookin at over 20 million to replace our current systems, and that doesn't include the cars
