Mobile phone payments = The future of personal finance?

If I have to take less trips to the bank and can pay back debts and lend money to friends and family - isn't this a good thing? Comapnies like KushCash and paypal already have this handled and spouts the same security and anti-fraud protection.

How, why or why wouldn't you use this?

sounds cool to me, would be convenient if a lot of people used it.

also sending money to a friend is vastly different than using an RFID chip implanted in your phone to pay for stuff off of a CC -- i could see that become popular

i have a hard enough time sending short text messages. god help if i tried using the web on my phone

You had me fooled for a bit, because it looked like you read the threads in which you posted. If I'm wrong, forgive me. And you are certainly welcome to stay. But so many links to your website so soon is often frowned upon.

That said, I will answer your questions.
(1) It sounds expensive, so no, that isn't a good thing. I didn't look at the link, but everything similar is expensive. If it is free, you'll have to do a lot of work to explain the free part to people like me.
(2) There are other solutions (like writing a check will allow you to pay debts and lend money to friends and family), so again I don't see myself using it. Heck, cash can do that.
(3) So I'll save it for an absolute emergency, if even then.

I was just checking. Sometimes we get great members like you. Sometimes they come in for one day, leave a bunch of links, and never come back. Hopefully, you are the former. I voted in the poll.
