As non-official sources report, Intel is intended to overcome the 1 GHz bar on the mobile CPUs market in April 2001. Actually, there will be two mobile 1 GHz processors Pentium III introduced in April - one with a standard Coppermine core and the other one with a newer Coppermine-T (with lower power consumption). I have no idea as to why such a powerful CPU is needed for notebooks, but the fact is curious anyway.

but what i want to know is: why would anyone buy a laptop, especially with a geforce2go in it, to play games? if you wanna play game, spend that kind of money on a tower and you got yourself a top of the line pc, considering how expensive 1ghz or even lower clocked laptops are. and who wants to play game son a 14" screen when you can do it on a 19"? not to mention short battery life when on the go. but you can also use the ac plug, but since you're doing this, wouldn't you rather use a tower instead? you be the judge.
