Mobile P4 and normal P4

I would love to upgrade my processor, so can my system take a mobile p4 3.06?

currently have P4 2.53/533/512...its a dell dimension 8200
 
The problem with putting a mobile chip in a desktop board, is that desktop boards have no Speedstep, so the 3.06 mobile would be stuck with a 12x multiplier and run at way below it's normal speed..and having a Dell, you can't even OC the FSB to get it to run at a higher speed. If you could find a regular 3.06, and your motherboard supports hyperthreading, that would make a nice upgrade.
