Mobile Me question

What is actually needed from the kit you buy? I want to sign up but I don't want to pay full price at a Best Buy or directly from Apple. I'm seeing tons for sale on Ebay, but I'm impacient and would like to know if I could somehow buy it online for the big discount and still get it working this weekend. Might be a dumb question but Google isn't helping me much here.

If you purchased a Mac recently Apple will gladly sell it to you for $69 at their retail store...it doesn't have to be purchased on the same receipt. I think iPhone purchases qualify for this promotion too.

As I recall, the package comes with a code so I think if someone were to simply give you the code in the package you would be all set. By the way, if you decide you don't want to deal with ebay, Amazon has it for $69 w/free super saver shipping.

Yep, just opened up my .Mac 5 box yesterday, its just a tiny code inside 🙂
