What is involved with having a mobile internet connection? How can I connect my laptop to my cellphone and connect to an ISP?
 
If your cell phone supports it you will need a data cable. Then you should be able to use it to connect to an ISP. Just remember that a cell phone Internet connection can get 14.4 max.
 
Sprint has some new software out that is supposed to increast the connection speed to about 19,000 or so. I've not tried it yet.
